Panasonic RAC Solo air conditioner

Compact air conditioning without an outdoor unit

The Panasonic RAC Solo is a compact air conditioning unit designed for homes and buildings where a traditional outdoor unit may not be suitable. It provides cooling, or heating and cooling depending on the model selected, from one slim indoor unit.
Instead of using an external condenser, the RAC Solo is installed through a perimeter wall using two external air holes. This gives homeowners a practical way to add air conditioning while keeping the outside of the property neat and simple.

With a slim full metal body measuring only 16.5cm deep, DC inverter technology and flexible installation options, the RAC Solo is a discreet solution for rooms that need reliable comfort without the space or appearance of a standard split air conditioning system.

Panasonic RAC Solo installation and model options

The Panasonic RAC Solo is designed for easy, flexible installation. The standard installation uses two 162mm holes through an external wall, with 202mm holes required for the largest capacity model.

For rooms where the unit cannot be positioned in the usual way, a side installation kit can be used to redirect the airflow sideways. This gives more flexibility for corner installations or more awkward spaces.

The range is available in several capacities, including 1.7kW, 2.0kW, 2.5kW and 3.0kW options. This allows the correct model to be selected based on the size of the room and the level of cooling or heating required.

A range of accessories is also available, including external aluminium grilles, insect protection kits, side exit formwork and bottom cover kits for overhead installation. These help tailor the installation to the property and keep the finished result neat.
